ఢిల్లీ: మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికల నామినేషన్ల దాఖలుకు గడువు పొడిగించాలని, అభ్యర్థులకు రక్షణ కల్పించాలని వైసీపీ దాఖలు చేసిన పిటిషన్పై సుప్రీం కోర్టు విచారణ జరిపింది. హింసకు పాల్పడుతూ.. అభ్యర్థులను నామినేషన్లు దాఖలు చేయకుండా అడ్డుకున్నారని ఆరోపిస్తూ వైసీపీ సుప్రీంను ఆశ్రయించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే.

అభ్యర్థుల తుది జాబితాను ఈరోజు (గడువు తేదీ) ప్రచురించవద్దని, అక్టోబర్ 25 వరకు వాయిదా వేయాలని ఏపీఎస్ఈసీని సుప్రీంకోర్టు స్పష్టం చేసింది. నామినేషన్లు వేయని చోట 48 గంటల సమయం పెంచాలని, అభ్యర్థుల భద్రతకు డీజీపీ అన్ని చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని సుప్రీంకోర్టు ఆదేశించింది. ఈ పిటిషన్ పై తదుపరి విచారణను అక్టోబర్ 27కు సుప్రీం కోర్టు వాయిదా వేసింది.

ఇదిలా ఉండగా.. ఏపీలో MPTC, ZPTC నామినేషన్ల సందడి మొదలైంది. కొన్నిచోట్ల నామినేషన్ల ప్రక్రియ సజావుగా సాగుతుండగా.. మరికొన్ని చోట్ల మాత్రం హింసాత్మకంగా మారింది. పల్నాడు జిల్లా పిడుగురాళ్ల వైసీపీ ZPTC అభ్యర్థి భారతి భర్త లక్ష్మారెడ్డిపై దాడి జరిగింది. నరసరావుపేట RDO ఆఫీస్ దగ్గర నామినేషన్ వేసేందుకు వచ్చిన సమయంలో ఆయనపై దాడి చేశారు. లక్ష్మారెడ్డికి తీవ్రగాయాలు కావడంతో ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించారు.
