- Inter education directionless
Hyderabad, Velugu: The Inter education in the State is seems to be directionless with the Government yet to decide the affiliation issue of hundreds of private colleges. Though the classes and admissions were started some four months ago 552 private colleges have not yet been recognized by the government. As such they are being run unrecognized and the officials concerned are mum on the issue. Without knowing whether the colleges are recognized by the Government or not thousands of students have got admissions into them. If no recognition is given to these colleges what will be the fate of the students is the question pestering everyone. There is no answer from the officials concerned as well. The Inter Board released the schedule regarding commencement of admissions on from 25th May this year. Though for some period on line classes were conducted from 1st of September off line classes were started. But still the admission process is being continued even after four month since they were started. But The affiliation process of some private and corporate colleges is not complete. The Inter Board announced in its Website that affiliation is given for 934 colleges. It means that 552 inter colleges are not recognized. The officials say different reason for not giving recognition to these colleges including mixed occupancy buildings. The officials have given permission for the recognized colleges to start classes but no word on non- recognized colleges where admissions have been taken and classes are started. About one and half lakh students took admissions in these colleges. If something unwarranted happens what will be the fate of the students is the question agonizing everyone.
