ఈశాన్య రాష్ట్రాలకు కొన్ని అంశాల్లో ప్రత్యేక హోదా కల్పించే రాజ్యాంగంలోని ఆర్టికల్ 371 జోలికి కేంద్రం వెళ్లబోదన్నారు హోంమంత్రి అమిత్ షా. అస్సాంలోని గౌహతిలో నిర్వహించిన నార్త్ ఈస్ట్రన్ కౌన్సిల్ 68వ ప్లీనరీ సెషన్ లో అమిత్ షా పాల్గొన్నారు. ఆర్టికల్ 371 ను బీజేపీ ప్రభుత్వం గౌరవిస్తుందని షా చెప్పారు. మహాభారత కథను ప్రస్తావించిన అమిత్ షా… బబ్రువాహనుడు, ఘటోత్కచుడు ఈశాన్య ప్రాంతాలకు చెందినవారేనన్నాడు.
