మణిపూర్‌లో మయన్మార్ సరిహద్దు సమీపంలో ఉగ్రవాదులు రైఫిల్స్ జవాన్ల కాన్వాయ్ పై మెరుపు దాడి చేశారు. ఈ దాడిలో భారత ఆర్మీ కల్నల్ విప్లవ్ త్రిపాఠి, అతని భార్య ,ఏనిమిదేళ్ల కుమారుడు, మరో నలుగురు సైనికులు మరణించారు. మణిపూర్‌లోని చురచంద్‌పూర్ జిల్లాలో శనివారం ఉదయం 10 గంటలకు ఈ ఘటన జరిగింది. ఫార్వర్డ్ క్యాంప్‌కు వెళ్లి తిరిగి వస్తుండగా అతని కాన్వాయ్ ఉగ్రవాదులు దాడి చేశారు. గాయపడిన వారిన ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించారు. మణిపూర్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎన్ బీరెన్ సింగ్ ఈ దాడిని ఖండించారు. ఉగ్రవాదుల జాడ కోసం రాష్ట్ర బలగాలు & పారా మిలటరీ ఇప్పటికే ఆపరేషన్ ప్రారంభించాయన్నారు.

Strongly condemn the cowardly attack on a convoy of 46 AR which has reportedly killed few personnel including the CO & his family at CCpur today. The State forces & Para military are already on their job to track down the militants. The perpetrators will be brought to justice.
