Dilemma haunts tenth students

Dilemma haunts tenth students
  • No clarity on syllabus and question papers

Hyderabad, Velugu: Even after three months have been elapsed since the start of the academic year, there has been no clarity from the Tenth Board regarding the syllabus, number of question papers. As there has been no Board exams for the last two years the situation is further agitating the students as to how the exams will be conducted and how many questions they will have to attempt. It is really shocking that the officials concerned have not taken any decision at it and they blame the government that they have not got any instructions from it. The teachers who are supposed to know the details are not able to reduce the agony of the students as they themselves do not know anything. Five and half lakh students are
studying tenth class in 12,675 schools in the state.

The tenth exams for the academic years 2020 and 2021 were cancelled by the government duo to Corona spread and all the students were promoted basing on their inter marks. Though an attempt was made to conduct exams with 11papers in 2020 and after three exams were held they were cancelled on the orders of the High Court due to Corona. In the year 2021 year the number of questions were reduced to six from 11. Again Corona impacted it and the exams were cancelled. But the present scene is that there has been no clarity on the exam papers and the pattern. Every year tenth exam fee is collected in the month of October or November and there would be clarity regarding on the pattern of the exam. This year everything seems to be getting complicated as the officials have not taken any step toward it.
