కమల్ హాసన్, మణిరత్నం కాంబినేషన్లో వచ్చిన లేటెస్ట్ మూవీ ‘థగ్ లైఫ్‌’. నేడు గురువారం (జూన్ 5) ఈ మూవీ ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా విడుదలైంది. ఇందులో త్రిష, శింబు, అభిరామి ప్రధాన పాత్రలలో నటించారు. రాజ్ కమల్ ఫిలింస్ ఇంటర్నేషనల్, మద్రాస్ టాకీస్ బ్యానర్లు కలిసి నిర్మించిన ఈ చిత్రాన్ని తెలుగులో శ్రేష్ఠ్ మూవీస్ రిలీజ్ చేసింది.
1987లో వచ్చిన నాయకుడు తర్వాత మణిరత్నం, కమల్ హాసన్ కలిసి చేసిన రెండో మూవీ ఇది. మళ్లీ ఈ కాంబినేషన్లో ‘థగ్ లైఫ్‌’ తెరకెక్కడంతో అంచనాలు అమాంతం పెరిగాయి. దానికితోడు ‘తమిళం నుంచి కన్నడ భాష పుట్టింది’అని కమల్ హాసన్ చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలతో వివాదాలు కూడా అదే విధంగా జరిగాయి.
ఈ క్రమంలో బుధవారం (జూన్ 4) అమెరికాలో థగ్ లైఫ్‌ ప్రీమియర్ షోలు గ్రాండ్గా ప్రారంభం అయ్యాయి. ఈరోజు తెల్లవారుజామున కూడా షోలు పెద్ద ఎత్తున పడ్డాయి. దాంతో ఈ మూవీకి సోషల్ మీడియాలో టాక్ ఎలా వస్తోంది? రిలీజ్కు ముందు వారమంతా కోర్టు, వివాదాలు అంటూ వార్తల్లో నిలిచిన ఈ ‘థగ్ లైఫ్‌’ ఆడియన్స్ను ఏ విధంగా మెప్పించింది? కమల్కు మరో కల్ట్ క్లాసిక్ థ్రిల్లర్ అయ్యిందా? లేదా అనేది X రివ్యూలో చూద్దాం.

మరో నెటిజన్ తన రివ్యూను షేర్ చేస్తూ.. ‘థగ్ లైఫ్‌ ఒక బోరింగ్ గ్యాంగ్‌స్టర్ డ్రామా. మొదట్లో కొంత ఆసక్తిని కలిగించింది. కానీ ఆ తర్వాత పూర్తిగా ఆగిపోయింది! కొన్ని ఆసక్తికరమైన పోర్షన్స్ మరియు సెటప్ కారణంగా ఫస్టాఫ్ కనీసం కొంతవరకు చూడొచ్చు. అయితే, సెకండాఫ్ ప్రారంభం నుండి ముగింపు వరకు పూర్తిగా డల్‌గా ఉంది. మణిరత్నం ఈ కథను ఎలా ప్రారంభించాడో కొంచెం స్పార్క్ చూపించాడు. కానీ కథనం బాధాకరంగా నెమ్మదిగా మరియు చాలా ఊహించదగినదిగా ఉంది. భావోద్వేగాలు కూడా నిజంగా వర్కౌట్ కావు.
AR రెహమాన్ సంగీతం ఈ సినిమాకి పెద్ద మైనస్. కొత్తగా లేదు. నటించిన వారంతా తమ పాత్రలకు న్యాయం చేశారు. కమల్ హాసన్ ఎప్పటిలాగే ఊహించిన విధంగానే నటించాడు. శింబు అద్భుతంగా నటించాడు. కానీ రచన కారణంగా అతని పరిధి పరిమితంగా అనిపిస్తుంది. త్రిష పాత్ర వృధా మరియు పనికిరానిదిగా అనిపిస్తుంది.
ఇకపోతే ఈ మూవీ ఫస్టాఫ్ లో కొన్ని ఆసక్తికరమైన భాగాలు, మంచి నిర్మాణ విలువలు మరియు అద్భుతమైన సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ ఉన్నాయి. ఇది కాకుండా, గుర్తుంచుకోవడానికి ఏమీ లేదు. నిరాశపరిచింది!’అని తన అభిప్రాయం తెలియజేశాడు.
