మణిపూర్లో రెండో విడత పోలింగ్ కొనసాగుతోంది. ఓటు హక్కు వినియోగించుకునేందుకు ఓటర్లు పోలింగ్ స్టేషన్ల ముందు క్యూ కట్టారు. ఫిబ్రవరి 28న జరిగిన తొలి దశ ఎన్నికల్లో హింసాత్మక ఘటనలు చోటు చేసుకున్న 5 నియోజకవర్గాల్లోని 12 పోలింగ్ స్టేషన్లలో రీ పోలింగ్ కూడా జరుగుతోంది. పోలింగ్ బూత్ల వద్ద కొవిడ్ 19 నిబంధనలు పాటించేలా అధికారులు చర్యలు తీసుకున్నారు. మాజీ సీఎం కాంగ్రెస్ నేత ఓక్రమ్ ఇబోబి సింగ్ ఓటుహక్కు వినియోగించుకున్నారు. అయితే టెక్నికల్ ఎర్రర్ కారణంగా ఆయన ఓటు వేయాల్సిన పోలింగ్ స్టేషన్ లో ఓటింగ్ కాస్త ఆలస్యంగా ప్రారంభమైంది.

మణిపూర్లో రెండో దశ అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో ఆరు జిల్లాల్లోని 22 నియోజకవర్గాలకు ఎన్నిక జరుగుతోంది. 92 మంది అభ్యర్థుల భవితవ్యాన్ని ఓటర్లు ఈవీఎంలలో నిక్షిప్తం చేస్తున్నారు. 1247 పోలింగ్ సెంటర్ల వద్ద పటిష్ట బందోబస్తు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. మూడుసార్లు సీఎంగా ఉన్న ఇబోబి సింగ్, మాజీ ఉప మఖ్యమంత్రి గైఖాంగమ్ గాంగ్ మీ తదితరుల భవితవ్యం ఈ దశలోనే తేలనుంది. బీజేపీ, కాంగ్రెస్, నేషనల్ పీపుల్స్ పార్టీ, నాగా పీపుల్స్ ఫ్రంట్, జనతాదళ్ తదితర పార్టీలు సత్తా చాటుతామని ధీమాతో ఉన్నాయి.
