వాతావరణ మార్పుల వల్ల కలిగే దుష్ప్రభావాలను తగ్గించేందుకు పునరుత్పాదక విద్యుత్ వాడకం పెంచాలన్నారు ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోడీ. న్యూయార్క్ లో ఇండియా-పసిఫిక్ దేశాల అధినేతల సమావేశంలో మోడీ పాల్గొన్నారు. విద్యుత్ రంగంలో పునరుత్పాదక విద్యుత్ వాటా పెంచాలన్నారు. ప్రత్యామ్నాయ విద్యుత్ అభివృద్ధిలో భారత అనుభవాన్ని మిగతా దేశాలతో పంచుకునేందుకు సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నామన్నారు. ఇంటర్నేషనల్ సోలార్ అలయన్స్ అనేక దేశాలు భాగం కావడంపై మోడీ సంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
